The numerous communications from different sources about the readiness of NVIDIA to announce on 17 April video card family geForce 8600 on the base of 80 nm chip g84 barely leave doubts that this long-awaited event will happen in the period indicated. We already defined the characteristics of those video card series: GeForce 8600 GTS will work at frequencies 675/ 2000 MHz, while GeForce 8600 GT was ready to propose frequencies 420/1400 MHz on lower price - $149-179 against $199-249.
