Intel plans on building factory in China allowed some sources to assume that the low cost of raw material and work in this country will allow the company to concentrate on Fab 68 the production of inexpensive chipsets with initial level, and the appearance of this factory will allow to optimize the production structure expenses and logistics. Yesterday Intel declared about the beginning of building factory in Vietnam for testing and packing microprocessors. The cost of factory will compose $1 billion, its area will exceed 45 000 sq. m, and the number of personnel - 4000 men. The Vietnamese Intel factory will become similar type first enterprise in this country, and the sixth in Asia. To introduce factory in the system is planned to the middle of 2009. The technology of processors production implies to the production of silicic crystals in one enterprise and further testing with installation at other enterprise. The Vietnamese Intel factory exactly will be occupied by the last stages for processors or chipsets production. In 2006 the volume of computer technology and electronics export to Vietnam composed $1,8 billion, this 24% greater than in 2005. Obviously, the growing computer components consumption and favorable investment draw Intel attention. | ||
