We start from the fact that AMD today did not present new desktop processors models. One should also note that the scales of prices reduction in dual core AMD processors proved to be not as generous as it was planned.  As it was assumed, the processors athlon 64 FX-70 (2.6 GHz) was removed from AMD price list, and the remaining processors of this family drop in price by $200 for the pair. Dual core processor athlon 64 FX-62 (2.8 GHz) socket AM2 with the free multiplier also was removed from the official AMD Price- list .  Remaining wholesale prices of processors can be learned from the table above. As you see, low-end dual core processor cost $70. Then the single low-end processor socket AM2 cost $31 (Sempron 3000+). Elder single cores processors athlon 64 actually are over the price of low-end dual cores processors; however, it cannot be excluded that in this case Athlon 64 4000+ and Athlon 64 3800+ have a chance to find their buyer. Let us recall that Intel company must for the first time officially reduce prices of processors family core 2 Duo in this month, on 22 April, 2007. Price war continues,.... Related Products : | ||
