We already published information about AMD plans on the replacement of its processors notation . According to available data, the new models notation will enter in this summer. According to AMD  fresh road map here is the table of processors. Let us note immediately , The characteristics of those processors are not final, they can be changed before the announcement. First on the market will appear the four core processors agena FX and Agena - it will be possible to order them already before the third quarter of the present year. Processors phenom FX socket F+ are intended for installation in systems class quad FX with two processor Sockets. Two models are provided, But their frequencies are note fixed : AMD indicated them in the form of ranges. There is no TDP value for these processors. We note that not one four core AMD processors generation k10 is ready to work at the default frequency 2.9 GHz. Possibly, faster models phenom and Phenom FX will come out later, for the present their frequency potential is limited to 2.6 GHz. Focus attention on one processor phenom FX, which has the design concept socket AM2+. Its appearance in the road map means that AMD does not deprive of access to the free multiplier of the owners of systems class socket AM2+ and Socket AM2. Four core processors phenom X4 possess similar technical characteristics based on Phenom FX : frequencies lie in the range 2.2-2.4 GHz, the cache volume in the second level is equal to 4 X 512 KB, the third level cache volume is equal to 2 mb., the  indicated TDP value  is not more than 89 W. These processors also will be released  before the third quarter 2007. All four core processors AMD generation k10 will have the frequency of hyperTransport 3.0 in the orders of 3.2-3.6 GHz. Let us recall that these processors can work also in  old motherboards, in this case the frequency of hyperTransport will be reduced to (2.0) GHz. We Passe to the dual core processors phenom X2 (Kuma), we should note immediately several unexpected data. First, they will be released before the fourth quarter 2007, but not before the third, as recently promised AMD representatives . In the second place, the frequency range of dual core processors generation k10 will be much higher than the appropriate characteristics of four core processors. For example, the core frequencies will reach 2.8 GHz, and the hyperTransport 3.0 frequency will reach 4.2 GHz. We note , it is a little strange to see this faster bus for dual core processors, but not for four core version, where it could bring more benefit. At 2.6 GHz frequencies the processors phenom X2 preserve TDP not more than 65 W, with 2.8 GHz frequency this value grows to 89 W. Before the first quarter 2008 , AMD plan to show the processors phenom X2 with the lowered energy consumption (TDP=45 W). The frequencies of their core will be in the range 1.9-2.3 GHz, the frequency of   hyperTransport 3.0 will lie within the limits from 2.8 GHz to 3.4 GHz. Dual core processors rana, which in comparison with Kuma will be deprived from the cache in the third level, will preserve the commercial name athlon 64 X2. Precisely, this presence of cache in the third level give processors the right to have the name phenom. The single core rana will make start in the first quarter 2008. It will operate at 2.2 GHz frequency ,  2 X 512 KB cache in the second level, value TDP will be 65 W. The system bus hyperTransport 3.0 will operate at 3.2 GHz frequency . If we speak about the single core processors generation k10, then it is located only under the name : sempron . AMD in future will remove single core processors athlon 64,  all remaining AMD processors  will become poly-nuclear. We note that the cache volume in the second level for processors sempron on core spica will be equal to 512 KB. The frequencies of the two presented before road map models spica are equal to 2.2 GHz and 2.4 GHz respectively, TDP level does not exceed 45 W. The frequency Of hyperTransport 3.0 will work at 3.2 GHz and 3.6 GHz frequencies  respectively. These processors will appear before the first quarter 2008. Thus, after the study of this table it is possible to say  that processors generation k10 will be accessible at the end of this or beginning of the following year. Related Products :
