The last few years the management of Foxconn company's almost regularly reassure rebellious workers in factories. To avoid future squabbles related to growing discontent of ordinary employees, the world's largest electronics manufacturer plans to abandon work force in favor of mechanical devices.
However, the decision to replace the staff were made last year, and the first batch of robots, numbering 10,000 mechanical workers have arrived at one of the company's factory. Before the end of the year there will be about 20,000 Foxbot. Over the next three years Foxbot will completely replace humans in Foxconn factories.
By some estimates, the cost of one robot is $ 25,000, which is three times the average executive salary.
