With reference to intel company , the expected prices reduction for xeon servers processors will take place , but just a bit later than the planed previously period.

The prices reduction for desktop processors : core 2 Duo, Core 2 Extreme and Core 2 Quad will take place on 22 July.

Intel xeon 5300 will fall in price but not on 22 July, as it was planned, but one week later : on 29 July. The release of new Xeon is transferred from 2008 to the last block of 2007. But the model xeon x5365 and L5335 will appear during August with price 1172 and 380 dollars.

Let us recall, the expected prices of these processors:
