AMD representatives many time noted that the propagation of hybrid processors fusion will start from mobile segment, but gradually such products will appear in desktop and even in server segments. AMD attempt to convince community that processors with integrated graphic core are the inevitable evolution component . Obstacle in the propagation Of fusion in desktop segment could become the incompatibility with mainboard, which use traditional processors. Today appeared the new commentaries from AMD representatives , which concern the development prospects of hybrid processors fusion. The executive Vice President AMD, Mr. Dave orton, described about market segmenting for fusion processors . He explained, that the word  fusion should be understood not only as physical integration of video core and processor on one chip, but also as integration program of other discrete components. Possibly, sometimes later will appear desktop processors fusion, which unite in one packing or even on one crystal graphic core and traditional processor. . in mobile segment the physical integration will reach higher rates, since it give more benefit : reduction in the prime cost, decrease of the overall sizes and electric power savings  . Different portable products  :ultra-mobile computers, smart phone, palmtops and gaming prefixes will be based on hybrid processors with high integration degree  . On one chip will be placed : the memory controller  , processor core and video chip, but also some additional controllers. For the portable device segment , AMD will release the hybrid processors class bobcat, which will have a TDP level not more than 10 W. All remaining hybrid processors with TDP level higher than 10 W, will relate to the notebook or desktop segment . Related Products :
