  We already reported yesterday that the forthcoming reduction in AMD processors prices can be more decisive than the planned originally. We know that in 9 July , AMD will lower the wholesale prices of processors athlon 64 X2, Athlon 64 and Sempron. But there still no precise information about about price drop for other processors. Fortunately, we succeeded in getting information about the prices reduction scales for AMD processors from one large distributor. Although the absolute prices values , which will be presented for distributor on the nearest Monday, do not coincide with the wholesale prices from AMD official Price- list . For example,  the cost of complete set ( two processors athlon 64 FX-74 (3.0 GHz) ) in the near future will approach $599 – now for such price we have the processors athlon 64 FX-72 (2.8 GHz). Let us note that the complete set of two Athlon 64 FX-72 will not become cheaper  – already in the following block these processors will be removed. Let us recall that in the fourth quarter 2007 will start the delivery of processor phenom FX-80 socket AM2+ with 2.2-2.4 GHz frequency  , they should be more expensive than the single athlon 64 FX-74. In the first quarter 2008 it will slightly fall in price, being inferior to complete sets with a pair of processors phenom FX-90 (2.2-2.4 GHz) and Phenom FX-91 (2.4-2.6 GHz) socket F+. Thus, in the beginning of the following year , the segment of processors with  FX suffix will be presented immediately by four models  : Phenom FX-91, Phenom FX-90, Phenom FX-80 Athlon 64 FX-74.
