OCZ technology company already demonstrated the memory module type DDR 2-667, specially optimized for work with AMD processors socket AM2. Due to use of 11- bit columns and 16 KB pages size , this memory allowed to increase the system performance in tasks with intensive use of graphic and video. According to some independent estimations, increase in speed from these update will be measured in the best case by percentages units . Later OCZ proposed a complete sets with four memory modules with volume 1 Gb each.

Yesterday OCZ technology decided to enlarge the assortment of production proposed to AMD supporters .This Company announced the complete sets of memory DDR 2-667 with 11- columns and pages size 16 KB, which consist on modules with 2 Gb volume . In one complete set there can be both two such modules and four. In the first case the total volume will be equal to 4 Gb, in the second - 8 Gb.

Latency remained as before - 5-5-5-15 with the voltage 1.8-2.0 v. OCZ now sell such memory in complete sets with 4 X 2 Gb. These memory modules are incompatible with systems on base of intel processors , OCZ recommend to exploit those module under 64- bit operating system.
