In last days the situation with hybrid AMD processors fusion where substantially explained: TSMC representatives acknowledged that in 2008 ,  the company will approach the production of certain central processors on 45 nm technology, while AMD representatives explained, that fusion processors can have both monolithic and multi-chip layout. In the latter case the production of fusion parts can be occupied different plants. Associate believe that AMD will not entrust the production of processor part fusion to contractors at least up to 2009, exception will compose only Chartered semiconductor, which even now release for AMD central processors. It is assumed that to release the graphic part Of fusion on 55 nm technology there will be TSMC company . Processor part fusion will be released on 45 nm technology with SOI use at AMD or Chartered semiconductor. As we already reported, TSMC will master the release of 55 nm AMD video chip in the fourth quarter of the present year. This last will start to release classical AMD processors on 45 nm technology from the middle of 2008. The mass production of 32 nm AMD processors will start in 2010, and in 2011 will start the mastery of 22 nm technical process. It is completely possible that up to that moment fusion processors will find monolithic layout - at least, for the models used in the separate market segments  . Related Products :
