AGEIA Company already planed to transfer its physical accelerators physX in PCI express x1 interface and more thin technical process. Last update could reduce the energy consumption level , and also decrease the chip area , and AGEIA physX could be prescribed in mobile computers.

Yesterday AGEIA company reported about the release of the mobile physical accelerator physX 100M. The second name part : (100 ) correspond to the first generation physX chip designation , and the letter M refer to the mobile application. The energy consumption level of physX 100M must not exceed 10 W. Energy-saving technologies help to decrease it, and the function heat shielding (throttling) will protect chip from overheating.

It is interesting that the mobile version physX promises to possess the same speed level as the desktop version. Any notebook producers can use PhysX 100M in their products. It is assumed that Dell will be the first of them. The mobile version physX will met the sufficiently productive and dimensional notebook, which are called to games amateurs .
