Recently, AMD representative noted that quad AMD processors will reach the 2.8-3.0 GHz only in the second quarter 2008. AMD company stated about its readiness to provide processors with 3.0 GHz frequency in the middle of 2008. With favorable circumstances , AMD quad processor will reach the 2.7-2.8 GHz even in the first and second quarters 2008.

Phenom 9xxx-> frequency is not clear, TDP value is not defined, announcement in the second quarter 2008;

Phenom 9900-> frequency 2.6 GHz, TDP = 140 W, Bus frequency HyperTransport 3.0 equals to 4.0 GHz, support DDR2-1066, announcement in the first quarter 2008;

The model number 9900 leaves a little space for the production of faster processors without changing the numerical range. The follower of Phenom 9900 will operate at 2.8 GHz frequency .Phenom 9900 (2.6 GHz) Processor and its followers will be based on B3 stepping .
