AMD fights with its economic difficulties to build new factory Fab 4X in New York state . In summer company representatives declared, that to the end of the year AMD will make a decision about the building of this factory. Let us recall that formally AMD can make this decision in summer 2009, then it will be able to obtain privilege $1,2 billion from local authorities. Expenditures for building this factory can reach $3,2 billion; therefore AMD do not plan to lose such privilege . According to current conference with AMD representatives this last has not make the final decision concerning the building of factory in USA. AMD has the right to make a decision prior to the middle of 2009. | ||
