AMD plans to optimize drivers for CrossFire X . It was assumed that during March will appear the possibility to unite in one system up to three video card models Radeon HD 3870, Radeon HD 3850 and Radeon HD 3870 x2. The possibility to combine in one system two video card models Radeon HD 3870 and Radeon HD 3850 will be allowed by Catalyst 8.1 drivers , which was released in the past month.   The union of Radeon HD 3870 + Radeon HD 3850 scaled the speed in Half- bodice 2 game by more than 50% in some case .
