During March intel company will begin the deliveries of 45 nm processors core 2 Quad, which were announced during January, but they awaited passage on stepping C1. March already began, and the first copies of processors yorkfield stepping C1 already begin to appear .
Yesterday AndreYang from xtremeSystems tested the processor core 2 Quad q9550 (2.83 GHz) stepping C1. With voltage 1.31 v the processor stably operated at 3825 MHz frequency. The overclock limit on system bus was 480 MHz.

Possibly, with free multiplier the processor core 2 Extreme stepping C1 will be able to overclock better than some processors stepping C0.
