On base of chipset intel x48 will be created single overclocking motherboard with rich BIOS setup possibilities and a good overclocking potential . Motherboard producers simply hope for $70 piece (chipset price per piece), and realize their engineering potential with the creation of expensive high end products.
Intel promised to present the chipset x48 in the first quarter .According to associate Intel will officially present X48 this month . Chief motherboard producers began the dispatch of products on base of this chipset several days ago. Mass deliveries will begin in the middle of March. Intel x48 will proposes only two noticeable update: the official support to 1600 MHz system bus, which is necessary only to one processor model ( LGA 775 ), and also support to DDR 3-1600 memory with XMP expansions . | ||
