Patrick gelsinger, high-end Intel Vice President and general manager of digital enterprise group subdivision, noted that processors on base of intel architecture today are adapted in different devices  from MID to HPC systems  (High performance computing). Working stations using Nehalem, tasks design (calculation aerodynamics) In particular, the processors intel xeon was used for the creation of three from five largest HPC- systems in the world, moreover in 2007 intel corporation sold approximately four every five processors on HPC market . Gelsinger  alked about some technical specifications of the following processors generation with nehalem micro-architecture  , whose production will begin in the fourth quarter. First nehalem processors will appear in the segment high performance  PC and two-processor servers systems, in other segments such processor will be presented in 2009. Structurally nehalem processors are capable of being scaled from two to eight cores. Gelsinger also talked about the concept intel visual computing and about the need of increasing computational power .. One of critically important elements in the realization of these tasks will become larrabee architecture  , which will use intel architecture  , cache and new instructions set for vector data processing.
