Qimonda company is intended to accelerate the mastery of more advanced technological processes. Thus, in 2009 already they will begin the release of 58 nm standards .
Now Qimonda release approximately the half of its GDDR using the 70- nm technical process. As it is expected, passage to the thinner standards will allow to decrease the production prime cost .  In the present year Qimonda will release the GDDR5 chips with 512 Mbit density . In the second-half of year Qimonda will release GDDR5 with 1 Gbit density . This memory will be used in ATI radeon video adapters new generation. Besides Qimonda, important GDDR suppliers are hynix semiconductor and Samsung electronics companies . Related Products : | ||
