AMD announced today immediately four processors quad-Core AMD opteron SE, intended for servers.  Those processors will allow to increase the computer productivity due to the larger number of processor cores.  According to the company data , new processors has a record result in SAP-SD tests . Furthermore, four core processor AMD opteron SE collected a maximum rating in sPECfp_rate2006 tests for two- and four-processor x86- compatible servers.  The list of new processors is : Quad-Core AMD opteron 2360 SE (2,5 GHz), 2358 SE (2,4 GHz), 8360 SE (2,5 GHz) and 8358 SE (2,4 GHz). The deliveries of those models already began.
