The official announcement of new AMD video card Radeon HD 4850 will be on the following week .But this do not prevent some store from proposing the video card : on Friday sales began in many American and Asian stores. The largest on-line- stores , Newegg, proposes the ASUS EAH4850 for only 170 dollars! 10 dollars more expensive then analogous sapphire product . Let us recall that, it was expected that AMD partners will sell such cards in retail for 199 dollars, but, apparently the release of NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+ for $229 forced developer to reexamine their price strategy. Let us note that MSI, Gigabyte and Diamond cards sold for 199 dollars, proposing in this case the same functionality and speed determined by reference design HD4850. |
