As we already reported NVIDIA company purchased AGEIA in order to adapt the physical engine physX under CUDA platform which allow to accelerate physical effects in games using new video cards series geForce 8xxx and GeForce 9xxx, and also GeForce GTX 2xx. Users will access to physX support completely free of charge, for this it is necessary to download only the corresponding drivers .


According to preliminary information, to enable classic acceleration user have to download the physX version 8.06.12, and also the drivers forceWare 177.39. Currently on NVIDIA site the only accessible drivers is physX 8.04.25, which is intended for AGEIA physX card.

Here is the result using 8800GT (730/1726/830) and E8500@4Ghz (421*9.5)

The same system with latest Nvidia driver result in 5430 points.
