The video card cooling system accelero twin turbo from arctic cooling production was published in computex 2008 exhibition , but the official announcement of this cooler took place only yesterday. The description of this product appeared on the producer site . This Producer promises, that two 80 mm fan, two thermal tubes can remove up to 120 W of heat with noise level not more than 0,6 sones. For comparison - GeForce 9600 GT regular cooling system with standard design has approximately 1,2 sones. If we replace it by Accelero twin  turbo, then the video chip temperature will be lowered by 26 to 34 degree Celsiuses. Fan rotation speed can be controlled from 1200 to 2000 rp/min (1500 rp/min = noise not more than 0.2 sones). Per hour fans pump through up to 68 cube-meters of air (or 40 cubic feet per minute). With the overall dimensions 212 X 103 X 34 mm the cooler has a mass not more than 350 Gram. It is important that Accelero twin turbo provides cooling for memory microcircuits and power components . Well I wish Artic Cooling would hurry up and release the twin turbo before I burn up my 4870\'s. The press release said \"July 2008\". It is not July 30th, 2008 and still no one has it in stock. I\'m very tempted to just purchase a couple of the Accelero S1 Vers.2 and forget about the turbo. At least with the S1 I don\'t have to put up with 2 noisy 80mm fans. Make that 4 with crossfire. I am afraid that A/C has run into some problems with this cooler. I hope not. It\'s already a damn shame that we have to spend so much on video cards then buy a cooling system to replace the junk they came with.
