After small restoration in the second quarter, global DRAM market again manifests the signs of weakness - due to the overstock, a drop in prices is expected during the entire third block, As assert the specialists of analytical company iSuppli. Changes will touch contract prices for OEM. Experts predict their decrease in August and September. According to iSuppli representative the DRAM contract price will be lowered by more than 10% in comparison with curent . Reason for decrease is the rapid increase in the deliveries volume . Improvement in the d elevery for the second quarter was increased by 15%, which is noticeably exceed the expected value of 10%. Situation will be preserved also in the future, since the two most important producers, Samsung electronics and Hynix semiconductor, will pass to the standards (of less than 60 nm), which will allow to increase the production volumes . The stabilization of memory market will be only in the second-half of 2009. | ||
