Although AMD company proposes processors, released on 65 nm technological process since the beginning of 2007, with the production of such CPU models ( with  high frequencies ) AMD company has some serious problems. While AMD proposes 90 nm  athlon 64 X2 6400+ with 3.2 GHz frequency  , the maximum frequency Of athlon 64 X2 with 65 nm brisbane core was only 3.0 GHz. Now those problems are fixed. At least, on  European market appeared the processor  athlon 64 X2 6000+ with brisbane core  , whose clock frequency is already 3.1 GHz. This processor has 512 KB cache in the second level for each core and it is based on the G2 stepping . The TDP of this new model is only 89 W, while previous, 90 nm version had a TDP equal to 125 W.
