We briefly reported what processors will Intel company present in the period from the end of August to the end of October, and how much they will cost. As always, the appearance of new models will cause a prices reduction for the existing processors and the removal of some.
Here is the official Intel price list on 31 August. The following processors will be officially presented in the last day of August:
- Core 2 Quad q8200 - > 45nm technical process, four core, 2.33 GHz frequency, 1333 MHz bus, 2 X 2mb cache in the second level, $224;
- Core 2 Duo e5200 - > 45nm technical process, two core, 2.5 GHz frequency, 800 MHz bus, 2mb cache in the second level, $84;
- Celeron 450 - > 65nm technical process, one core, 2.2 GHz frequency, 800 MHz bus, 512 KB cache in the second level, $53.
Note that on 19 October the price of core 2 Quad q8200 (2.33 GHz) processor will be reduced to $203, and the price of 65nm processor core 2 Quad q6600 (2.4 GHz) will be also reduced from present $193 to $183. These will be the two cheapest four core processors from Intel production .
IN 19 October will appear also the dual core 45 NM processor core 2 Duo e7400 (2.8 GHz) 3 MB cache and 1066 MHz bus, its wholesale price will be $133. The price of core 2 Duo e7300 (2.66 GHz) processor will be reduced to $113.
The official release of dual core processor atom 330 (1.6 GHz) with 2 X 512 KB cache in second level and 533 MHz bus will takes place on 21 September. Its wholesale cost will be equal to $43.
The announcement of core i7 (Bloomfield) processors as assumed will be in the middle of November. Related Products :
