Asus company wants to enlarge the products family republic Of gamers using video card with support to the technology super hybrid engine, which allow the advanced control functions of frequencies and voltage, and also monitoring operational characteristics.
Today Asus company officially presented the video card ROG EN9800GT MATRIX/HTDI/512M. It is equipped with 512 mb GDDR- 3 memory , works at default frequencies 600/1500/1800 MHz. Under load in 3D regime the core voltage rises from 1.2 to 1.3 v, memory voltage grows from 1.9 to 1.92 v, and frequencies rise to 750/1753/2000 MHz. According to the producer statements, this allow the video card to demonstrate up to 15% higher results in comparison with standard design products .

In the quiescent conditions the GPU voltage is reduced to 0.9 v, and the memory to 1.8 v, and the power system optimizes the energy consumption due to the phases control . As result the video card economizes up to 30% of electric power in comparison with standard products.

Fan in the quiescent conditions also reduces its rotation speed, but it does not stop completely. User can select between four profiles for video card tuning , or create their own setting in the fifth profile.

This video card allows the use of HDMI interface through adapter from the DVI port . Asus company also plans to release the model radeon HD 4850 similar on functional possibilities.
