In 10 September (Today) , AMD company officially released two video card on base of 55 nm chip RV730, which obtained the names radeon HD 4670 and Radeon HD 4650 . RV730 chip obtained 320 stream processors, 16 textural blocks, 8 blocks rops and 128- bit bus. In essence, it is pretty similar to RV670 (used in HD 3870), but it include with the half of ROP blocks and also a twice smaller memory bus.
Today some additional characteristics of RV730 chip are known . For example, the quantity of transistors in this case is equal to 512 mln. pieces, but they are placed over the area of 146 sq. mm.

Actually, produced on the same technical process (as RV670) , RV730 video chip occupies more area but has a smaller transistors quantity . The TDP level of video card on base RV730 chip is extremely low: not more than 59 W for Radeon HD 4670, and not more than 48 W for Radeon HD 4650.

In general , AMD partners will propose three video card models on base of RV730 chip :

Radeon HD 4670 - > 750/2000 MHz, 512 mb GDDR- 3 memory , recommended price $79;

Radeon HD 4670 - > 750/1800 MHz, 1024 mb DDR- 3 memory , recommended price $89;

Radeon HD 4650 - > 600/1000 MHz, 512 mb GDDR-2 memory , recommended price $69.

The deliveries of radeon HD 4670 with 1 Gb memory DDR- 3 version will begin to the end of the present month. At the end of this month AMD will present the Radeon HD 4550 on base of RV710 chip , and during October it will release the Radeon HD 4350 with the recommended price $49.

The tests results showed that Radeon HD 4670 can be faster than GeForce 9500 GT by up to 40%;
