The processors AMD phenom X3 was released as competitors to the dual core 45- nm core 2 Duo. If on the beginning the competition was difficul, then now after the price drop those processors looks very attractive . The Model X3 8450 now costs 104 dollars (a month ago 125 dollars), X3 8650 119 dollars ($145) and X3 8750 129 dollars ($175). Furthermore, AMD released a new  model X3 8750 Black edition (2,4 GHz) with the unlocked multplier , for overcloking amateurs . This CPU costs 134 dollars.
