We already reported about NVIDIA plans on rebrending its video cards, but here the precise correspondence of the new names with old one was not given.
Now according to drivers forceWare 178.15 for Windows vista 32-bit version, separate products on base of g9x video chips were mentioned under the new names. Let us examine the details : The GeForce 9800 GT will be renamed in GeForce GTS 150. Video card on base of G94 chip , GeForce 9600 GT, will obtain the designation GeForce GT 130. Finally, the GeForce 9500 GT on base of G96 chip will obtain the name GeForce GT 120. It is assumed that the new notation will appear after a pair of weeks. | ||
