Asus company , which is already the one of the most important notebook producer , regularly report about the characteristics of new generation products. For example, Asus reported that notebook with the operating system Windows 7 will be equipped also with the dual core processors atom 330 (1.6 GHz).
Let us recall that formally Intel do not orient the dual core version atom to the notebook segment , and it prefers to see this processor in compact desktop systems : Nettop.

Also let us note that in WinHEC 2008 , Microsoft representatives showed notebooks on base of the dual core processor atom 330 (1.6 GHz) and Windows 7.

It was declared, that Windows 7 require 1 GB memory and HDD with volume not less than 16 GB. The dual core processors atom 330 with TDP value not more than 8 W can be completely used in elder notebooks models.

According to Intel representatives , the company does not plan to release the special dual core version atom, oriented for notebooks.
