Associate tested the radeon of 4870 X2 from Palit , @ the frequencies 750/3800 MHz ( default for this video card ). This card is equipped with 2 X 1 Gb GDDR5 memory . We note that some energy-saving functions do not function correctly and the energy consumption level in the quiescent conditions was 80 W higher than in the standard version radeon HD 4870 X2. Furthermore, the three-stage cooler in the quiescent conditions occurs noisier than the standard version.  Under load, however, the difference in the energy consumption is decreased by several percents, and the noise level is lower . This card was able to overclock from 750/3800 to 822/2282 MHz.
