Intel company will present new processors models LGA 775 not only on 30 November this year, but also on 18 January of the following year. The wholesale prices will correspondingly change. Core 2 Quad q9550s - > 2.83 GHz, 1333 MHz bus, 2 X 6 MB cache, $369; Core 2 Quad q9400s - > 2.66 GHz, 1333 MHz bus, 2 X 3 MB cache, $320; Core 2 Quad q8200s - > 2.33 GHz, 1333 MHz bus, 2 X 2 MB cache, $245. Now processors with the related characteristics can have a TDP level not more than 95 W. It is possible to assume that Intel will continue to improve the energy characteristics of 45 nm processors within the platform LGA 775. Eighteenth January Intel will lower the prices of dual core processors: Pentium e5400 (2.7 GHz) - > $84 (start up); Pentium e5300 (2.6 GHz): $86 - > $74; Pentium e5200 (2.5 GHz): $84 - > $64.
