We already reported about the announcement periods of larrabee graphical solutions : The end of 2009 or the beginning of 2010 . Intel Representatives also explained, that the first representatives of larrabee architecture will accelerate precisely three-dimensional graphic, but exceptionally they will not accelerate calculations, although this application sphere is also provided, and it will be developed in the course of time.
On Tuesday Intel company published on its site the list of main 2008 events. Among achievements, Intel mentioned about its plans with respect to the release of larrabee graphical solutions . Press release confirmed that the official release date is 2009-2010 (the first products with larrabee architecture will be released in 2009 or 2010).

Simultaneously Intel company noted that during May together with TSMC and Samsung they prepare for the passage to the use of 450 mm silicic plates. It is expected that the first production lines will appear in 2012. Series production , according to Intel estimations , will start in two or three years .

Intel also noted that it has to pay attention to the retail market sector . Now from 25% to 30% of processors sales are precisely from the retail networks.
