AMD Company already made a serious efforts to improve the overclocking potential of 45 nm processors Deneb. In a initial editorial staff AMD mentioned about reaching the frequency of approximately 6.0 GHz using liquid nitrogen cooling and Deneb processor, but later AMD corrected this value and reported a modest one . Obviously, AMD does not desire to reveal all the secret of the phenom II X4 before its official announcement  . Associate tested three processor phenom II X4 940 (3.0 GHz) in the motherboard Asus M3A79- T deluxe ( AMD 790FX + SB750 ). In one of the cases it was possible to overclock the processor to 3.6 GHz with water cooling , 4.0 GHz was also reached but the cooling method was not mentioned . This processor@ 3Ghz coupled with the two-chip video card radeon HD 4870 X2 with 2 X 1 GB GDDR5 memory (750/3600 MHz ) has (Average:47fps Max: 84fps Min: 36fps) for Crysis warhead and for 3DMark'06(22130@ 3Ghz ,24312@4Ghz ) , 3DMark vantage (15180@ 3Ghz ,17036@4GHz).
