BFG technologies company released a new power units series : LS and MX characterized by the presence of modular cables connection. Currently there 2 models : 550 and 680 watts, LS-550/LS-680 and MX-550/MX-680. Those power units passed NVIDIA SLI certification. The quantity of +12v power lines is four in all PSU. Qualitative capacitors ensure the declared parameters at temperatures up to 105°C. The typical effectiveness of BFG LS and MX products is located in the range from 80 to 85%. In the elder models, the fan is 135- mm, in the low-end version : 120 mm. The MX series is equipped also with 80- mm fan, which is included if necessary. Due to the cables length ( 500- mm )(+150 mm additional connector) such power units can be used even in the large case. New BFG PSU are already available. The price of MX 550 model composes 110 dollars, MX 680 cost 135 dollars. Related Products :
