Intel company on 30 November not only released three new processors LGA 775, but also noticeably reduced the number of old models. Recently, Intel reported about the removal of two models : Core 2 Quad q6700 (2.66 GHz) and Core 2 Duo e4700 (2.6 GHz). Let us give more detail.
Both processors are based on G0 stepping, they are released on 65 NM technology. If the four core Core 2 Quad q6700 appeared in July 2007, then the life cycle of the dual core - core 2 Duo e4700 proved to be completely short : it appeared during March 2008, and in 1 December Intel began its removal from production. Both processors will be supplied up to 3 July 2009 (box), and until 4 June, 2010, in the tray- assembly.
Now let us pass to the Core 2 Duo e8300 (2.5 GHz) with 2 X 2 Mb cache in the second level and 1333 MHz bus support, marking ( SLB5W ) (R0 stepping )- the freshest processors with 45 NM and small cache volume accessible .
The second processor Pentium e5300 (2.6 GHz) with the marking SLB9U also belongs to R0 stepping.
The dual core processor celeron e1500 (2.2 GHz) with the marking SLAQZ, which speaks about M0 stepping .This stepping will be used for all remaining 65 NM processors celeron with two cores.
R0 stepping with two cores is available in Pentium e5200 in all for $86. Related Products :
