The first overclock attempts of core i7 processors with extreme cooling resulted in the frequency of 5.4 GHz, lately the selected copy core i 7-965 Extreme edition not only overclock to 5.0 GHz in air, but also approached the frequency 5.7 GHz with three-stage cascade : temperatures below minus 100 degree Celsius.
In this context , Asus company overclocked the series processor core i 7-965 Extreme edition to 5.51 GHz using the motherboard ROG rampage II Extreme on base of Intel x58 chipset. 
Above FUGGER demonstrates the overclock of selected processor core i 7-965 Extreme edition: first to 5.0 GHz with air cooling, and then to 5.67 GHz under cascade (minus 100 degree Celsius). System was built on base of Intel DX58SO motherboard. Related Products : | ||
