With the reference to Toshiba , this company intends to demonstrate on CES 2009 a solid-state disk for notebook with 512 GB volume. This device has form factor 2.5 inches, it is built with the use of 43 NM memory MLC type , and ensures the data transmission speed up to 240 Mb/s (read),up to 200 Mb/s (write).  Micron and Samsung companies already are ready to begin the deliveries of SSD with 256 GB volume, but Toshiba will already release the 512 GB SSD in the second quarter 2009. Toshiba is also assembled to propose SSD model with 64, 128 and 256 GB volume in the form factors 1.8 even 2.5 inches.Toshiba expects that up to 2012 all notebook will be equipped with SSD disks.
