Today VIA technologies company announced a new powerful platform, which will introduce high HD-content performance in ultra-compact systems.  The new developed platform obtained the name VIA trinity. The name trinity, is not random, since the system is based on three chips: CPU, chipset and GPU, while for the majority of producers, four chips are required for constructing a similar platform.  In the composition of trinity platform enter : the processor VIA nano and chipset-media processor with S3 graphics GPU. The task of VIA engineers was obtaining the energy-effective one chip solution (chipset) all in one, which would process signals from periphery with sufficiently high performance for multimedia content.
