The asus company was not going to modernize P5WD2-E Premium motherboard for compatibility with Conroe. they will offer New motherboard with support of this class processors , based on chipsets P965 and i975X Meanwhile, in the XtremeSystems forum many was sure that in second half of July there will be an audit 1.03G motherboard of Asus P5WD2-E Premium which will provide support of Core 2 Duo E6xxx processors . Many participants of this forum are going to receive samples of such motherboard, even its photo has been published: There was a message referred by official Asus representatives .about the Asus P5WD2-E Premium update 1.03G and about the support of conroe processors after making contacts with them we have asked the same question It was possible to state the answer in a few words : works on creation of motherboard Asus P5WD2-E Premium audit 1.03G was ordered, but now idea of release of this motherboard is refused. further comments on the reasons of such decision has not followed. | ||
