According to associate, Samsung electronics, which recently reduced the deliveries volumes of memory devices microSD standard, resulted in a price increase immediately by 50%. Besides Samsung ,Toshiba and Hynix companies whom decreased the deliveries volumes  (in the fourth quarter) NAND flash memories  . Samsung , in turn, made the same step,  created a market situation , when the total deliveries volumes proved to be substantially lower than the required, in other words, this situation resulted in a price jump. Lenovo company decided to release a new notebook, after proposing the mobile workstation Lenovo thinkPad w700ds. The basic display of this powerful notebook has a size of 17 inches and 1920 X 1200 resolution , and the auxiliary display with 10.6 inches has the resolution 768 X 1280 . The basic notebook display possesses an increased brightness and color reproduction accuracy. This notebook is coupled with a digitizer from WACOM production with the working surface dimensions 128 X 80 mm . Lenovo thinkPad w700ds can be equipped with the four core processor core 2 Quad q9100 (2.26 GHz) or core 2 Extreme QX9300 (2.53 GHz), and also with professional video card Quadro FX 2700M or Quadro FX 3700M. In the past month , AMD reported about its intention to propose as alternative to Intel atom platforms its own solutions for creating inexpensive full-scale notebook: Yukon on base of 65 NM single core processors Huron and Congo on base of 65 NM dual core processors  Conesus. The notebook segment for AMD seems attractive, since for comparable value the company partners are ready to propose a more functional and developed notebook. It is assumed that the cost of Yukon class notebook will lie within the limits $399. The TDP of processor and integrated chipset will not exceed 25 W. Associate shared with us some characteristics of Yukon platforms. Chipset (RS690E+SB600) and (Huron) processor will cost only $20! Analogous components for notebook on base of atom processor cost $44, in this case the processor is released on 45 NM technology and has a tiny core. The dual core processors Conesus, will be the close relatives of present mobile Athlon 64 X2 (Turion 64 X2). They will obtain a dual-channel memory controller , cache in the second level with 2 X 512 KB volume  . With 1.6 GHz frequency  the processor will have a TDP not more than 18 W. Huron processors will be a close relative to mobile Sempron. The core will be satisfied by a single-channel memory controller  , 128 KB cache in the first level and 256 KB cache in the second level. The graphic system in RS780M and RS690E chipset will ensure a much higher performance in comparison with the integrated chipset Intel 945GSE.
