Thermaltake company released a new notebook cooler : Thermaltake Xaser s1000 notebook cooler . The perforated case is made from aluminum. Active cooling is accomplished by two 7 cm fans with rotation speed control in the range from 0 to 1200 rp/min . The declared noise level composes 18 DB.  The power is ensured by USB interface . Overall sizes (320 x 100 x 30 mm) and weight (390 grams) allow to take Xaser s1000 notebook cooler everywhere. The producer declared compatibility with models ( screen from 12 to 15 inches ). Dell prepared a new mobile computer series studio, which was called Dell Studio XPS 13.  The notebook Dell studio XPS 13 has a combination of black- silvery glossy case.  This computer is equipped with web- camera and optical drive . There are several external display interfaces: D -Sub, HDMI and DisplayPort.  We can assume that XPS 13 has 13- inches screen. Most probably, this notebook will be based on Intel platforms .

We already reported some information about the first 40 NM models RV740 chip coupled with GDDR- 5. The 40 NM RV740 chip on its status resembles greatly as replacement to the radeon HD 4830, but not to the Radeon HD 4670 (RV730) : 640 standardized stream processors, 32 textural blocks and 16 rops blocks . The memory bus will be 128- bit. According to AMD, this is sufficient for guaranteeing high capacity with GDDR 5 memory . The core frequency is currently unknown , but the memory volume is 512 Mb will operate at 3600 MHz QDR frequency . RV740 will be also used with GDDR-4, GDDR- 3 and GDDR-2 memory. A thinner technical process will allow RV740 chip to consume less electric power in comparison with Radeon HD 4830. The speed of 40 NM technical process will be located between Radeon HD 4830 and Radeon HD 4850, the price of video cards on base of RV740 will be below $100. The 55 NM GT200 version will appear soon in series video card. The announcement of GeForce GTX 285 and GeForce GTX 295 video card will take place on 8 January. In Japan even now its possible to purchase the video card on base of 55 NM chip GT2xx series from inno 3d production . In this case we deal with the new version GeForce GTX 260 Core 216.  Inno 3d emphasizes the important combination of consumer qualities: high frequencies, the presence of 216 stream processors and 55 NM technical process.  This video card is equipped with 896 Mb GDDR3 memory , it is use 448- bit bus. Default frequencies are increased to 620/2100 MHz.   The rear video card panel is equipped with two DVI ports and S -Video output.  In Japan this video card cost $391.
