The main solid-state disk enemies are the low longevity : the lifetime of MLC memory is measured by tens thousands of write cycles, SLC memory - hundreds of thousand write cycles. If for home application this still acceptable, then in the server solutions usually a higher longevity is required. Micron company together with Sun Microsystems developed the solid-state memory (SLC) , which was capable of maintaining up to million of write cycles. Thus, on base of new SLC chips, produced on 34 NM technology, it is possible to create disks with the high longevity and performance. Sun plans to use them in its server solutions. Currently, Micron supplies microcircuits models ( new  memory  type)  with density up to 32 Gbit. Mass production will start in the first quarter of the following year. In autumn dell company presented the notebook Inspiron mini 12, equipped with 12,1 inches screen . In the opinion of  FBR  analytical agency  , Intel company under the current sales drop conditions could decrease the number of personnel by 6-7%. Intel representatives refuted information about the prepared essential reduction . From June 2006 the number of personnel already decreased from 102 by 000 to 86 000 . However, predicting a drop in the gain Of Intel by 15% in comparison with analogous periods for the last two years, FBR analysts do not exclude the possibility of new staff reductions in 2009. In the first quarter , according to the estimations of analysts, Intel can rescue $7,8 billion.
