Panasonic company ,  is going to  propose electrical networks for  with automobiles, which use batteries as basic energy source for movement. The prototype of electromobile, capable to be connected with devices inside the apartment , will be shown on CES 2009 exhibition . The same network can be used for image transmission from video camera observation. Thus, user can track the state of automobile, connected to the electrical source, without leaving their house. The update of built-in navigation systems  , new music for entertaining systems, new software for on-board computer - all this can be transferred to automobiles in the charging process  . This is especially urgent for individual houses habitants  , since they usually leave electromobiles  in garages (for charging). We already reported about the future 40 NM NVIDIA video card : GT212, GT216, GT300 and GT214. NVIDIA will master the new technical process in the high-end  segment  . GT212 Video chip, which will appear in the second quarter 2009, will be the first 40 NM chip. As we already reported, it will be able to replace the two-chip solutions GeForce GTX 295. In the fourth quarter 2009 in this segment NVIDIA  will present the first video chip with DirectX 11 support, which will be also released on 40 NM technology :  GT300. The third quarter 2009 will be rich for NVIDIA  , announcements of 40 NM graphical solutions : GeForce 9600 GT (G94) - > GT214; GeForce 9500 GT (G96) - > GT216; GeForce 9400 GT (G98) - > GT218. On base of GT216 will be created four video card models , on base of GT218 - six models . They will be characterized by the frequencies values and memory system configuration  . However, in the third quarter as change to the integrated chipset GeForce 9300/9400 will appear the 40 NM chipset iGT209. This week we already introduced the characteristics of future chip NVIDIA  GT216. There are 168 stream processors (SP) and 56  sample textures blocks (TMU). The memory bus will be 192 bits, and the number of (ROP) blocks  will be equal to 12. Today associate reported an alternative information about the characteristics of GT216. The memory bus remained equal to 192 bits, and here the number of stream processors and sample textures blocks was decreased to 160 and 40 pieces . This will mean that NVIDIA continued to displace the balance of textural and mathematical operations . In G9x chips it composed 2:1, in the GT200 it is already 3:1, and GT216 will get 4:1. Besides the characteristics, associate also reported the theoretical performance level of GT216, indicated in giga flops (GFLOPS : billions operations floating points per second ). It is 600-800 GFLOPS. Relying on the indicated performance, it is possible to calculate the clock frequency, at which will work the stream processors. For achievement of peak performance 800 GFLOPS , the frequency of 160 SP will have to be 1,66 GHz. Such shader frequencies were used in G92 chip within the  65 NM technical processes. We also note that the sample textures blocks frequency cannot be more than the half of the shader domain frequency  . Thus, it will be hardly more than 800 MHz, and this together with the relatively small number of textural blocks, most likely will come out as the main factor, which limits the GT216 performance. Anyway, 600-800 GFLOPS for GT216 appear to be a worthy result against the GeForce 9800 GTX+ (708 GFLOPS) and splendid against the G96 (135 GFLOPS) and G94 (312 GFLOPS). Thermalright company released many coolers , which can effectively cool the hottest processors even in the passive regime. Recently, the company began to propose fans on the hydrodynamic bearings as option. Associate reported today about the processor cooler thermalright  AXP-140, characterized by low altitude: only 70,2 mm. this property allows to recommend this radiator in compact computer cases. The cooler base is made from copper and its connected to six copper heat pipes . This allow to install standard size fan 120 mm or 140 mm. With the overall sizes 145 X 147 X 70,2 mm, the radiator has a mass of 900 Gram. The producer promises compatibility only with LGA 775.  The expected retail price Of thermalright AXP-140 is equal to $59.
