ASRock and ECS companies already presented motherboards with socket AM3, capable of working with the corresponding 45 NM AMD processors and dual-channel DDR3 memory .

Asus company yesterday also presented immediately two motherboards with socket AM3: M4A and M4N, based on AMD and NVIDIA chipset respectively. From Asus revelations we can assume, that socket AM3 processors can overclock the memory to the regime DDR 3-2000. In order to simplify this task, Asus equips its motherboard with eight-phase power system for the processor and with two-phase system for the memory. .

In the following tables, it is possible to reveal the technical characteristics of both series.

Asus motherboard are directed to overclock. In particular, the special button turbo key allows to overclock the system with one pressure. The function turboV, in turn, allow  to produce fine voltage adjustment with 0.02 volt step in the real time scale.

Simultaneously with the announcement of NVIDIA 3d Vision  technology , ViewSonic and Samsung also announced their products , .

The first reported the fast release of ViewSonic fuhzion vX2265wm monitor, which ensures the frequency 120 Hz  .

This 22- inches model has the resolution 1680 X 1050 pixel. The response time is 3 ms (GTG) and 5 ms (complete). The declared brightness level is 300 nits, contrast level  1000:1, the viewing angles 170/150 .

ViewSonic Fuhzion vX2265wm has the recommended price 399 dollars.

ViewSonic company , presented yesterday immediately three products on base of atom processors  : notebook, computer- monoblock and nettop.

We noted especially VieBook : first notebook from ViewSonic. This compact notebook has a screen with 10.2 inches and mass not more than 1,17 kg.

The notebook filling is almost standard: it include the single core processor Intel atom n270 (1.6 GHz), 1 GB memory, 160 GB hard disk, network adapters Ethernet 10/100 Mbit/s and WiFi 802.11b/g, adapter bluetooth and Web- camera with 1.3 MP, and also memory reading device  : 4- in -1. Operating system Windows XP home and battery with three-hour of off-line operation. The recommended price for vieBook will be $429, on sale it will appear during February.

ViePC VPC100 is a monoblock computer with 18.5 inches LCD ( 16: 9 ). Inside the monitor case ViewSonic located a place for all components: processor Intel atom n270 (1.6 GHz), 1GB memory, hard disk with 160 GB volume and adapter wiFi 802.11b/g. The Ethernet interface speed was increased to the gigabit, and the memory reading device was degraded to 3- in -1. The monitor includes 1.3-mp Web- camera, DVD-RW drive and stereophonic dynamics - according to the producer concept  , ViePC will be frequently used in offices. On sale it will appear during February for the recommended price $549.

The viePC series will be also represented in the desktop computer. The characteristics of this nettop are close to one above for ViePC VPC100, On sale this nettop will appear during March for the recommended price $399.

The notebook market is one of the most promising computer segments in the industry. In 2007 were sold about half million of these devices. According to experts forecasts  , notebook sale in this year will throughout the world compose 11 millions, and up to 2012 this index will increase to 40 millions. It is not surprising that computer producers increasingly more pay attention to this market segment  . SanDisk company did not become exception , and within the passing exhibition CES 2009 presented the solid-state disc (SSD) new generation, which will be first of all used in notebooks.

New disc have the designations sanDisk pSSD-P2 and SanDisk pSSD-S2, they are produced on the 43 NM technical process, with the use of Flash- memory MLC new generation , they have a  SATA interface . SanDisk SSD will include products with volume : 8, 16, 32 and 64 GB. According to SanDisk statement  , those new SSD have an amazing relationship of price and quality, which must draw the attention of designers, producers and simple notebooks users .

SanDisk company also announced the SSD- disk third generation, which on the statement of producer, it was more than five times faster than a usual hard disk and almost two times faster than SSD released in 2008. The new products, which received the marking SSD C25-G3 and SSD C 18- G3, will be released in the form factors 2.5 " and even 1.8 inches , both devices will have a SATA-300 interface, when desired the given disks can be used also in desktop PC. The volume of new SSD will compose 60, 120 and 240 GB : price $149, $249 and $499 respectively.

The characteristics of those devices are : writing speed 140 Mb/s, while the reading speed  200 Mb/s. Soon on sale must appear the SSD version with 240 GB volume in the form factor 2.5 " with the  PATA interface.
