Today appeared the screnn shot with some benchmark results of bloomfield processor based on newer stepping with 3.2 GHz frequency  , overclocked with the regular cooler to the frequency 3.97 GHz.

Associater reports the ability of bloomfield processor to reach at minus temperatures a similar frequencies as penryn generation  . Associate once again proof that the air cooling allow bloomfield processors to reach the frequencies of approximately 4.0 GHz.

CPU- Z can not see currently all eight threads, supported by this four core processor with the hyper-Threading technology  .

According to CPUID value , before us the engineering model bloomfield processor stepping B2, it is close in its qualities to the series processors, which will be presented on 9-10 November. This overclocked to 3.96 GHz bloomfield processor and the working in regime DDR 3-1984 memory ( 3 X 1 Gb )  and two video cards radeon HD 4870 X2 in crossFire X regime at 800/3800 MHz frequencies collected 27 203 points in 3DMark'06 test  . According to the  single video card radeon HD 4870 X2 under these conditions collects not less than 25 500 points in 3DMark'06.

The overclocking potential of bloomfield processors has a ambiguous estimation. From one side, we see that the engineering bloomfield processors with the unlocked multiplier overclock rather well as yorkfield even with the use of regular cooling systems. From other side, some associate report that low-end bloomfield models will not overclock as well due to the synchronization of frequencies inside the processor. Finally, the memory support for elder bloomfield model will be limited to DDR 3-1066 regime .

Under these conditions the regular question is born: how well will the memory overclock in bloomfield series processors  ?

Associates report that the bios of LGA 1366 motherboard will contain 6 setting modes for the memory operation  DDR 3-1333, DDR 3-1600, DDR 3-1866, DDR 3-2000 and some intermediate versions. Furthermore, user will be able to independently change the memory operation mode in order to go higher than 2000 MHz DDR.

Assocaite reported about the annoucement graph of future intel processors.

According to this graph we can see the announcements of new CPU in different segments  up to  2010.

The completely successful Intel core 2 Quad q9550 will be removed soon. Already in the fourth quarter it will be replaced by the low-end core i7 (Bloomfield), working at 2,66 GHz frequency.

Accessible lynnfield processors (4 core,  two-channel, 128- bit memory controller instead of 3- channel in Bloomfield) and Havendale (2 or 4 core) will be released in the third quarter of the following year, as it was assumed earlier. In this case, associate assumes that lynnfield frequencies will be from 2 to 3 GHz, and Havendale will be represented by models with frequency more than 3 GHz in the mass segment and from 2 to 3 GHz - in the budget segment.

Also in Q3 2009 we expect the mobile CPU versions on the base of nehalem architecture  , now has the code name clarksfield.

PowerColor company presented a radeon HD 4850 with absolutely noiseless cooler.

Gigabyte recently also presented the video card GV-R485MC-1GH, which has a noiseless radiator with thermal tubes and also 1 Gb GDDR- 3 memory  .

The Aluminum radiator consists on two sections, each  is connected with the cooler base with the aid of two thermal tubes. The power system is built according to (4 + 2 phases).

This video card works at 625/2000 MHz frequencies , and it is equipped with 1 Gb GDDR3 memory .
