Corporation AMD released new official version of Catalyst v.8.5 drivers for its video cards Radeon family (model from 9500 to HD3800), ATI Theater and All-In-Wonder, and also series XPRESS 200/1100/1150/1200/1250, AMD 580X/690.

In Catalyst v.8.5 are added the following possibilities:

Catalyst Control Center Component Video: in this release is added support sizes 480i and 480p (Catalyst Control Center->Component Video->Advanced page).

ATI Graphics Driver Uninstall Enhancement: improved built-in utility to remove graphic drivers and drivers for chipset system logic.

SECAM TV Out Support: support TV out in standard SECAM.

1080p HDTV custom mode: added possibility to use regime 1080p HDTV when using signal on HDMI.

HDMI Audio for non-standard TV modes: improved audio out for nonstandard TV regimes.

Adaptive AA on OpenGL for Catalyst Control Center: new possibilities for picture smoothing (Adaptive AA) with openGL.

1080p24 Mode Support: added support of regime 1080p24 on HDMI signal.

Windows XP Service Pack 3 support: passed WHQL certification under Windows XP Service Pack 3 for all products series ATI Radeon.

In Catalyst v.8.5 is corrected increased speed in some games, and some bugs in work with different products and applications.

When Trojans or viruses are detected, program prevents user about their appearance and then it attempts to independently remove them from system. Gold Version allows to search and destroy viruses, even if there is not a corresponding signature, it is capable to analyze loaded processes, it works with network ports.
