Last week many world records was broken . Know this is undoubtedly is much more complex, and it requires special qualification and patience from oerclockers. In XtremeSystems forum, the Latvian overclocker ( sam ,TaPaKaH) used a system on base of EVGA 132-CK-NF79-A1 (nForce of 790i Ultra SLI) motherboard with the processor core 2 Duo e8500 (3.16 GHz) overclocked to 5852 MHz at the temperature minus 140 degree Celsiuss, A pair of voltmoded video cards GeForce 8800 GTS 512 mb on base of G92 chip overcclocked to the frequencies 1240/3160/2300 MHz at a temperature minus of 105 degree Celsiuss. For processor and videochips cooling liquid nitrogen was adapted . This system was able to reach a new world record in 3DMark' 01 SE, which corresponds to 123 004 points. The motherboared asus P5K3 deluxe (Intel p35) with the modified power system in the experiment overclocked the same processor to 5856 MHz at a temperature minus 40 degree Celsiuss. Result in super PI 32M test was 8 minutes , 3 seconds and 530 ms. | ||
