Yesterday on transmeta site appeared the press release, which announces about the durable agreement with NVIDIA company . On the contract conditions , NVIDIA obtained nonsingular rights to the use of transmeta developments , including the energy-saving technologies longRun and LongRun 2. for this right NVIDIA paid $25 mln., in this case Transmeta has all bases for licensing technologies to other producers.
NVIDIA do not note were transmeta developments will be used. In principle, companies can use them both in video chips and in mobile chips with high integration degree , where each saved watt is important. | ||
