Motherboard producers are prepared for the release of intel core i7 processors . Let us recall, these motherboard use the new LGA-1366 processor . We already reported about the motherboard ASUS P6T deluxe using LGA-1366. Besides ASUS, gigabyte also demonstrated its development . Assocaite got some detailed photographs of GA -X58-EXTREme . Here we have the gigabyte north bridge active cooling with the aid of water-block. This motherboard include four slots PCI-Express (PCI- E) 2.0 X16 and six slots three-channel memory DDR3. Four slots PCI- E x16 are grouped in pairs (one dark-blue and one orange in each group). Dark-blue slots work in x16 regime . The similtanious use of dark-blue and orange slots will result in 8X regime . The Upper two slots PCI- E x4 always work in the x4 regime . Possibly, Gigabyte will release the simplified version : GA -X58-Ds4, after removing some functionality. | ||
